Early Identification and Recruitment of Hispanic Teacher Candidates

While America's minority student popu lation is increasing, the teacher pool is becoming increasingly white. For His panics, the country's fastest growing minority, the situation is critical. Zapata reviews the issues regarding Hispanic involvement in teaching and presents Project: / Teach as a viable model for recruiting Hispanic high school students into teaching.
